Social Work Review is aiming to be a meeting place for ideas, a mean of dissemination of researches, good practices and experiences in the field of social work. Articles from all areas of social work are welcomed. There will be published innovative articles, researches, and comments of policies, practices and their implications for social workers. Social Work Review appears four time a year: March, June, September and December. Each article is peer-reviewed by two reviewers.

Issue no.1/2012 is coordinated by Assistent Professor Florin Lazăr, Ph.D., Deputy Chief Editor of Social Work Review. The main theme is international social work.

Issue no. 2/2012 is coordinated by Professor Maria Roth, Ph.D., Head of Social Work Department at the Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj Napoca, together with Imola Antal and Mihai-Bogdan Iovu. The main theme is promoting the Wellbeing of Children: Quality of Life, Protection and Assistance.

Issue no. 3/2012 is coordinated by Lecturer Ioan Durnescu, coordinator of the MA program on Probation at the Faculty of Sociology and Social Work, University of Bucharest, together with Lecturer Anamaria Szabo, Deputy Chief Editor of Social Work Review. The main theme for this issue is Correctional Policies and Practices in a Post-Modern World.

Issue no. 4/2012 is coordinated by Lecturer Valentina Rujoiu, Ph.D., Deputy Chief Editor of Social Work Review. The main theme is violence in society (school violence, domestic violence: violence against women, maltreatment of children, maltreatment of older individuals, violence against individuals with disabilities).

The 1st issue from 2013 is coordinated by Nicoleta Neamtu, Ph.D., associate professor and director of Master's Program “Social Services Management” at Faculty of Sociology and Social Work, “Babes-Bolyai” University from Cluj-Napoca.
